Appalachian Culture Fest

John participated in this event, held in the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.

He and other members of The Ohio Valley Woodturners' Guild demonstrated turning techniques and discussed the designs of their turned artwork. In addition to the artists' demonstrating, hand made pieces were also available for purchase.

October Issue of Cincinnati Magazine

John is featured in an article in the October 2010 issue of Cincinnati Magazine. The well written article, by Brad Fitzpatrick, introduces John's work to Cincinnati readers and details his philosophies and beginnings in the art of woodworking.

Sentimental Keepsake Line

I introduced this line in 2017 and it has become a very popular product. I utilize special wood from customer's homestead, trees from their property, old furniture, barns, or just about anything wooden from their childhood. Examples are rolling pins, bowls, pens, letter openers, confetti lamps, wine stoppers and more. Below are examples of items I have made.
